Title: Wild At Heart
Series: Wild #2

RATING:
REVIEW
“…everything changed for me. All these things I didn’t want before, suddenly all I could think about was havin’ them with you.”
Wild At Heart picks up right where The Simple Wild left off. I thought the start of the book moved slow, I was even afraid I wasn’t going to end up liking it but it did pick up after a while.

I do wish there was an epilogue but I loved this conclusion to Calla and Jonah’s story!! When I finished reading I felt so satisfied and my heart was so full <3

Calla’s personal growth
- Since she left her life back in Toronto, she had to find her new purpose in Alaska especially since Jonah can’t be around all the time because of his job. It wasn’t easy and she’s definitely shown having doubts about living there.
- He has such a good heart. At this point we all know how much he loves flying but he gets a rush from doing things that genuinely help people like aiding villagers and putting out forest fires. He is such a grump but he’s so soft and romantic towards Calla. You can also tell how much he loves her.
Calla and Jonah’s relationship
- There aren’t as much scenes between them as I hoped but the ones in the book are so good. They talk through their issues and apologize for their parts when they have fights.
The side characters
- Muriel, Toby, and Teddy who are like her first friends there
- There’s also Roy, their neighbour. He’s an actual old grump and wasn’t the nicest the first time they met him. He liked spending time with Calla more than he lets on but eventually he warms up to Calla (although slowly).
- Mabel and Agnes weren’t here a lot but I loved it when they came to visit!
